The Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology in Chinese Academic of Agricultural Sciences (IAPPST-CAAS) is a national research institute in the agro-products processing area. The Institute has research divisions which are Cereals & Oils Processing and Functional Food, Meat Processing, Dairy Processing, Fruit and Vegetable Processing, Agro-Products Preservation and Logistics, Agro-Products Processing Quality and Safety，Nutrition and Health, Machinery of Food Processing, and the Industrialization of Traditional Food. Besides these research divisions, the Institute possesses 3 public platforms at the ministerial level, such as the Comprehensive Key Laboratory of Agro-Products Processing under the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), Agro-Products Quality and Security Risk Assessment Laboratory under MOA, the Agro-Products Processing Engineering Center under MOA. Furthermore, the Institute has set up two master programs on Agro-Products Processing and Preservation, and Food Science, two doctoral programs on Agro-Products Processing Quality and Safety, and Biophysics.
